The
SuperViser system provides unattended playout of video and audio
clips, graphics pages and standard overlay functions including
station clock and logo insertion. The overall system is competitively
priced to suit the operating budgets of smaller TV stations
and information system integrators. The system comprises a separate
MPEG-2 video player and a genlockable graphics insertion card
that are controlled from a script. Graphics can be overlaid
and dissolved with video from the player under software control.
The control software comprises a script editor that can generate
complete running schedules with absolute or relative time reference
to cue video and audio clips, graphics and effects. Graphics
are provided in standard PC format that can include Windows
bitmap and HTML material plus Flash-type animations if this
feature is installed. Complete scripts can be repeated or chained
together to provide longer replay sequences.
