NEW TeleViser video graphics overlay system

G2 Video Systems has launched a new TeleViser variant, TeleViser SGO. This product can accept analog or digital video inputs and overlay PC graphics producing an output in VGA form.

SGO is configured as standard with a 1.5 GHz industrial PC installed with Windows XP Pro although other PC configurations are available to order. SGO can be expanded to provide multiple video inputs and mixing facilities. As SGO is a software emulation, it does not function with DirectX applications.

Infotain Information playout system

G2 has launched a new software that is ideal for TV play-out, advertising and information systems. Infotain combines HTML material, jpg graphics, MPEG video and displays these in multiple scalable windows. Each window is controlled by its own independent script and the material can follow sequential or absolute timing commands. Plain text can be output using up to 8 tickertapes. Graphics are dynamically scaled without artefacts and both MPEG 1 and 2 video materials can be replayed up to full-screen size. Scripts may be chained together to entirely update content and layout at preset time as required. Play-out material can be stored locally or downloaded from LAN, WAN or the Internet and Infotain continually checks for revised material and downloads these as required using FTP techniques.
