Infotain combines HTML material, jpg graphics, MPEG video and displays these in multiple scalable windows. Java and flash effects can also be included if the host browser is enabled.Each window is controlled by its own independent script and the material can follow sequential or absolute timing commands. Plain text can be output using multiple tickertapes.

Graphics are dynamically scaled to suit window size without artefacts and both MPEG 1 and 2 video materials can be replayed up to full-screen size. Scripts may be chained together to entirely update content and layout at preset time as required.

Play-out material can be stored locally or downloaded from LAN, WAN or the Internet and Infotain continually checks for revised material and downloads these as required using FTP techniques.
